You know I'm all over this survey. Except for number 9. A girl has to retain a certain amount of dignity!

1. Everyday. I have an oily scalp, I need to be sqeaky clean or I go nuts.
2. Sometimes, but usually I leave the door open out of habit. I don't think my hubs appreciates that though!
3. I don't buy them. I'm all about comfort and if I buy them and they are uncomfortable I'll never wear them. Always sit in them when you are trying them on.
4. I plan on public schooling. I hope to have a job as well. I don't expect my house to ever be clean again until my kids have left home and by then it won't matter because I'll miss them too much.
5. Every 2-3 months unless I'm letting it grow out. Then maybe a couple times a year.
6. I wish. Though I am trying to teach him to pick up his toys.
7. I try. If I can make at least 2 good meals a week I'm doing good.
8. 75-125. Depends on the week and if we have company and if I go by Aldis.
9. Call me if you want an honest answer.
10. 7 and I'm good. Any less or more I tend to drag my feet.

1) I'm old and gray now, so about every 2 to 3 days... when I was your age... every day.
2) Hummm - Back when Heather was little... no... now... an animal is usually at the door now.
3)Get rid of them... got to be comfortable!
4) Heather went to school (out) and I worked 50 hours a week... the house was never really clean... especially after Heather came home and would decide to make something to eat!
5)about every 2 months
6)I wish I did that! I believe it's important!
7)I did years ago when I worked outside the home and Heather was growing up.
8) Our grocery bill now is based on 5 people (two families) - I would guess $150 for 5 people -
9)You really don't want to know this about your Aunt and Uncle do you?
10) 8

1. How often do you wash your hair?

Every other day, except in the summer sometimes every day. It really depends on my hormones... sometimes when I'm pregnant or right after pregnancy, I can go, ahem, a bit longer.

2. If you are a Mom, do you EVER go to the bathroom without being interupted?

Yes, but only if the door is locked and then they are all banging on the door and crying. Seriously.

3. What do you do about a pair of jeans that look slimming when your standing, but when you sit you can pinch your rolls?

Not realize it until I see pics and I'm like- oh my, that's horrendous! I'm a big fan of aprons- they cover up all of that. Heheh

Seriously, Khols has some that are really good about this particular situation. I can't remember what they are called, but they are by Levi or Lee's and they have a special way that the pockets are constructed where they flatten the stomach. Pretty cool.

4. In regards to Homeschooling VS. Kids that go off to school...Which way is the easier in getting and mantaining a "clean" house?

I have no idea, but I suspect that it's the go off to school answer. I know that the days my kids are at MDO it's cleaner 'round here.

5. How often do you get a hair cut?

It used to be once a year, but Kari Ann (my stylist) gets onto me about it so it's around 4 times a year now, sometimes 3.

6. Do your children have specific chores they must carry out everyday?

Not really, but mine are fairly young. They are required to help pick up around the house before bed and to put their plates & silverware in the sink after meals.

7. Do you plan a weekly menu?

Nope. I SUCK at this.

8. How much do you spend a week on groceries?

I don't know, sad, huh? Shaun does our grocery shopping. That fact alone should tell you it's el-cheapo.

9. Sex? How often? Ok, just kidding, don't anwer that one!

I mean, really?! I am so offended that you even put this on here.

Hehehe just kiddin'

10. How many hours of sleep do you need a night?

Need or get? Need... probably 7ish. I usually get somewhere close to that.

1. I try for every day, but some days it's every other.
2. Yes, even when you all were little. I really don't get it with this generation struggling with this issue.
3. Us fuller figured gals need expandable waistbands, girl! I love my Lane Bryant jeans, but like you said, sit and it all rolls out! I like my expandable waist jeans the best.
4. Home schooling...put them to work! Free child labor, baby!
5. Every 6 or 7 weeks....color it, too...and I'm proud of it! Not ready to be gray yet.
6. Yes they did. But did they all do them is the question! "Someone's" room was always a mess.
7. Used to. Now it's a little loosey goosey.
8. ~ $75 a week, some weeks only $50.
9. You know, Dave Ramsey says, "When we were kids we didn't think our parents had money or sex. Turned out they had both." The rest is up to your imagination.
10. The last few nights 10!!! Amazing!! No wonder I'm starting to feel better. Normally it's only around 6.

1. I wash my hair every other day.

2. When the kids are not here, then I go potty in blissful, uninterrupted quietness.

3. wear spanx

4. If you have kids, there's no such thing as a clean house. There's cleaner than usual, but that's about it.

5. I get my hair cut twice a year.

6. They have chores for every day of the week except Sunday.

7. I plan a menu for the purpose of buying groceries. Makes it much easier. But no set meal for specific nights of the week. I'd get rebellious.

8. $250.00 every 2 weeks (that includes household items like toilet paper, garbage bags and laundry detergent)

9. all the time... yeah, right!

10. at least 7 hours to function but 8 or 9 to be happy.

1. Every other day unless i'm not going anywhere and I stretch it an extra day.
2. Almost always, believe it or not. Our bath is set up in a way that you can still have privacy w/o shutting the door ... if I shut the door, they come knocking.
3. Wear a blousier or top. Stand the entire time I'm wearing them in public. ;)
4. Doesn't apply yet, but my best efforts always stay maintained when they're not awake, so I imagine homeschooling would be harder.
5. Every 6-8 weeks when I'm paying attention. I make the next appt. when I'm there so I don't let it go too long.
6. They do have some that they have to do every day but they're no brainers like put your shoes where they belong, pick up toys before bedtime, and put your clothes in the basket. Others revolve around laundry and meals which don't necessarily happen every day.
7. I plan for 3-4 meals every week depending on our schedule but I'm flexible about what meal is on what night by how I feel. We eat leftovers too. I'd rather not cook every night.
8. probably between $75-100
9. :)
10. an uninterrupted 5 hour stretch is a great night. i hear every cough and cry so i'm usually in bed for 8-9 hours but don't actually enjoy sleep the entire time, sometimes just several naps throughout the night. :)

1. Daily
2. Yes. Always. I sat my kids down for a "meeting" I told them not to knock on the BR door while I am in there, unless they are throwing-up or bleeding. If they continued to bother me while I was going potty I would dock bedtime. It works!
3. I have 1 pair. I'm trying to cut back on food intake.
4. NA
5. Every 4-6 weeks.
6. Yes. Rooms, and self-care, then they each have a room they are responsible for cleaning after everyone has removed their belongings from around the house. I do the kitchen while they do their "jobs" in the late afternoon or after dinner. It is nice b/c as a rule, we wake up to a "company ready" house. I'm funny about this one...
7. I try to.
8. About $100 and I shop "big" every 2 weeks, then refresh produce on the off week.
9.
10. Daily, oops, wrong ?
I need about 7-8 hrs of sleep, depending on what season it is. Seriously.

How fun! I'll play along.
1.Everyday. Unless I'm lazy, which is often enough. But the funny thing is, alomost every time I get a compliment on my hair, it's a day dirty. Go figure.
2.Yes. More often now that they're older. I find it helps to announce that you're going. That way any immediate business can be handled beforehand.
3. My secret is in the tops. Wear flowy tops and it hides a multitude of sins in the jeans department!
4.My kids go off to school and my house still gets a mess. It's just a matter of priority under my roof.
5. I try to get one about every 2-3 months. But it's expensive, so it ends up being like every 5 or 6.
6. nah... I can't function with the pressure of that. But we jsut have them help out with whatever is needed on a daily basis. Nothing specific.
7. No way! Again... too much pressure for me. I need to "feel out the afternoon" if ya know what I mean.
8.It varies. My boys eat like horses, so it's way more these days.
9. *blush*
10. I really need about 10 or 12. Unfortunately, I only get about 6-8 on a regular basis.

You never fail to make me laugh, Missy.
1. How often do you wash your hair?
Sometimes twice a day. (Believe me, if you drop by my house on a morning when I haven't washed my hair yet for the day, you'd know why!
2. If you are a Mom, do you EVER go to the bathroom without being interupted?
When Bella's at school, yes.
3. What do you do about a pair of jeans that look slimming when your standing, but when you sit you can pinch your rolls?
"A" pair? They're all like that! Drives me crazy, so I have to pull the front up when I'm sitting down.
4. In regards to Homeschooling VS. Kids that go off to school...Which way is the easier in getting and mantaining a "clean" house?
Off to school, without doubt. And that goes for working mom vs. stay-at-home mom, too. My house was SO much cleaner when I worked outside the home, even though I had two young kids.
5. How often do you get a hair cut?
About once every three months (though I need it more often than that).
6. Do your children have specific chores they must carry out everyday?
Absolutely! And I rotate chore responsibilities about every quarter (or maybe a four or five months) so they learn more housekeeping skills.
7. Do you plan a weekly menu?
But I don't plan a weekly menu. Depends on what meat is on sale, and how much money is left as the month proceeds.
8. How much do you spend a week on groceries?
I buy BIG (about $250) at Aldi at the beginning of the month, then replenish produce and milk along the way). Remember, I'm feeding six, including two teens.
9. Sex? How often? Ok, just kidding, don't anwer that one!
Female. Oh, that's not what you meant, is it?
10. How many hours of sleep do you need a night?
Like to go on six or seven, but find I'm as I'm getting older that the less I get, the meaner I am.

3.I would get a new pair of jeans. Jeans that pinch make me ill.
4.Keeping a clean house is hard no matter what I think.
5.About 2 times a year. I've thought about going to the local salon and getting some braids done, what do you think?
6.The girls have certain chores they do each day. Poor Summer is the pooper scoopers:)
7.I plan what days we eat beef or chicken and go from there. Friday nights are always pizza night.
8.We shop monthly and prices are a lot different here.
9. won't you want to know!
10. I need about 8

1. How often do you wash your hair?

My answer may disturb you. I do not wash my hair every day or even every other day, sometimes. Gross.

2. If you are a Mom, do you EVER go to the bathroom without being interupted?

Mostly, being an old mom.

3. What do you do about a pair of jeans that look slimming when your standing, but when you sit you can pinch your rolls?

Every pair of jeans, slimming or not, pinches my rolls. So I try to wear big shirts, like Valerie. I want to do everything like Valerie.

4. In regards to Homeschooling VS. Kids that go off to school...Which way is the easier in getting and mantaining a "clean" house?

Kids that go off to school.

5. How often do you get a hair cut?

Sporadically. Every two or three months.

6. Do your children have specific chores they must carry out everyday?

Only Jennie. On consistency we do well for a while, then slack off for a while, then do well for a while.

7. Do you plan a weekly menu?

No, but I used to, and keep saying I'm going to again.

8. How much do you spend a week on groceries?

About 200.00 on eating, total (groceries, fast food, etc.) That's because I don't plan menus!

9. Sex? How often? Ok, just kidding, don't anwer that one!

ok

10. How many hours of sleep do you need a night?

At least 7, 8 is better. Now we want to know the reason for this survey!

cool.. im probably really behind on this post.. but such is life with a newborn. not a lot of time for blogging these days..

1. everyday..no exceptions.. and I shave my legs everyday of the year too!

5. geez.. every six months.. it used to be every 3 months. before kiddos.
6. nope not yet.. well Jorge is supposed to pick up the clothes off the floor and put them into his drawer or the hamper (since he changes clothes 13 times a day.
7. semi.. but then i don't stick to it..
8. $200 for two weeks.
9. cute.. i wonder this about other people too. right now im on the six week hiatus (just had a baby).. i can tell you privately .. not on the world wide web.. seriously i don't have a problem talking about this. .
