Favorite smell today.... cider on the stove, veggie soup in the crock pot, chocolate flowing down a chocolate fountain, strawberries.
Favorite sound today ... the women huddled around the chocolate fountain dipping their strawberries and pretzels - they sounded just like the cows in the meadow next to us! LOL!!!
Anything that I'm not cooking. I would honestly rather smell a fart if it menat I didn't have to cook. However, I do simmer cinnamon stix & cloves on the stove from Oct to Dec & its lovely all thru out the house!
Not to be a downer... But I hate kitchen smells. When people cook, I can't breathe. Don't ask. Because I have no idea. I must have some weird medical problem, because I've only learned of one person I know that has this problem. Therefore, I dispise cooking smells. Ok, I lied, I'd like to be the downer. But I'm sure it smells wonderful... :] I'm sure you have the magical smelling...Cooking. Where only in your kitchen can I clearly breathe through my horrible air ways, and completely enjoy the delightful smells of such foods as fresh baked cookies...

Bread baking is one of my favorites. I LOVE the smell of gingerbread cookies. Mmmm...

I will have to say cake! Although it isn't out of the kitchen, BBQ on the grill really gets me going! =o)
