Trade Days

To all of you living in the area, do you remember when we used to have trade parties? Those were awesome...we brought our own junk, and left with somebody elses. What could be more fun? I don't know about all of you, but I could use a fun night of fellowship and junk trading. I was thinking we could do it someplace kind of central. Someone with a big enough house, in particular a downstairs area that has been nicely renovated. Someone that has recently been accused of being an alchoholic. Someone with a new cat. If you know of anyone that fits that description, let me know.
And if you don't let me know, and if you don't want to participate...you'd better look out or Gelissa and Gichelle might get ya!

I would only agree to host a party like that if there was alcohol. Lots and lots of it. All for me. Not really. It would probably only take a small amount.
Anyhoo...why do these ideas only pop into someone's head when summer's over and school and small groups and sports have all started back up?? It would be hard for me this time of year, but let's throw some dates around and see what happens...that would be fun!

A large (poster size) framed portrait of this very same Gelissa and Gichelle hangs in the play room area at Marmi's house! At first it scared my poor grandchildren, until I explained to them it was merely there crazy aunt (and for 2 of them, their Mommy). Now that Gelissa's children are getting older, they just think it's wierd. I guess they've learned to live with Gelissa all of these years.

I'm in. I have been wanting to do the same thing for a while. I have also thought that cleaning out the pantry of all those things you bought and will NEVER eat for one reason or another might be a fun exchange.
