I've Been Telling You!

Many of my blog readers have the false sense that Lana is the perfect child.
If I haven't blogged enough in the past about her mishaps to let you know otherwise, this one maybe will do it.
Allow me to recount for you a conversation between Logan and Lana:

Logan-"Some spiders I'm afraid of"

Lana- "Well if your afraid of it then you should just GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE!"

Me- "Lana, do you know you just said a bad word?"

Lana- "Yes."

Me- "Then why did you say it?"

Lana- "Because I just wanted to say that."

Needless to say, she has tasted of the "Whine Stopper" today. It is also good for screaming, arguing, and apparently cursing.

And just so you know...she did not hear that from me or Stacy...she said she heard it on
"Night at the Museum". Seriously people, that is THE ONLY cuss word in the whole movie and she hasn't even watched it in a long time. Apparently she's been waiting for the perfect oppurtunity!

It proves that our children are more aware of what is said and going on than we give them credit for. And of course they always remember the bad things that are said and done too! It sounds like you have a strong willed child on your hands! Who does she take after? haha!

As Barney Fife would say, "Nip it! Nip it in the butt!" lol

Love,
Aunt Michele

Little sinners! I said the "s" word one time just out of the blue to my brother when I was about 6 years old. He told on me. I got in trouble.

I don't think Lana is the perfect child because they do not exist. But I think she's a cutie patootie! Forgive me if I laugh at this post....because I did.

And don't feel bad...Brandon said Dammit the other day. I'm sure he heard that from me though.

Noah loves to say Hell! He has said...

Knock the hell out of it, The ants ate the hell out of it (a cracker), and of course he knows how to use it as a place too!

Pretty funny! Maybe we need some of that "Whine Stopper!"

I'm sorry that I'm laughing about that!

You must've misunderstood her. She probably was referring the the HILL that the spider was living in and the need to irradicate the hill from your yard. MY grandchild would NEVER say such a thing! ;)

Yea...I laughed.
I'm not sorry.
Everybody still thinks I'm the perfect child...

But yea...My big word at that age was "Dammit."
Heh...I remember those times...
Quite clearly...
