Poop in the sink...

Live outside!
That's right folks...if you poop in our sink, you have proven that you are an animal, and must live outdoors.
And such is the fate of Anna the cat.
She is now an outdoor kitty.
We'll see how long this lasts.
It was Stacy that banished her to the out of doors, and yet last evening when we got home, he tried to let her back in.
She refused ( I guess my curse worked) and stayed outside.
Fine by me.
"Bye bye kitty, enjoy the outside. I won't tell the crazy squirrel lady that we have an outdoor cat. Please don't bring me any "gifts" and leave them at the door."

I must tell you briefly about squirrel lady.
I saw her on the news Thursday night. She runs the Alabama Wilderness Center at Oak Mountain. I thought that would be a good field trip for the kids, so on Friday we went there.
The squirrel lady proceeded to tell me that people shouldn't have outdoor kitties because they hurt birds and squirrels. Really? Do they? Come on lady, haven't you ever heard of the circle of life? I mean not that I WANT the cat to go out and randomly start attacking little animals, but really, this kind of stuff has been going on for a looooong time.

Anyways...that is my story. Really its just a story to procrastinate and take a break from my sorting. I'm doing that dreaded task of sorting last years Winter clothes, going through drawers of current clothes, and finding a happy medium to combining Fall and Summer clothes in this neutral part of the season. My den is covered in clothes. Arg, I better get back to work.

I am sure that Anna is enjoying the outdoors, stalking squirrels and all!!!!! Pooping in the sink, you have better self control than me my friend, Anna would have disappeared (I know I'm the one who gave her to Lana, but this story reminds me why I'm a dog person at heart!)

Wow! Remind me not to poop in YOUR sink! Gosh.

At first when you were talking about crazy squirrel lady I thought you meant ME. LOL.

You seriously cracked me up when you said it's been going on for a long time. I wish I was on your feild trip. I would have wanted to raise my hand and say, "What about outdoor cows and pigs and chickens? Is it ok that we go outside and eat them? Is that ok? huh, crazy squirrel lady? Is it?!!"

Ok, I've had cats as pets all my life. I'm no expert or anything but any "animal" person will tell you that a cat's natural habitat along with the natural instincts they are BORN WITH is to be in the outdoors. Most cats get a little stir crazy when they are strictly indoor kitties. It's more dangerous for them because we humans live in this world too but it's where they are honed to live.

Translation...squirrel lady is an idiot. Yeah I said it! And it's bizarre to me to think a cat pooped in the sink. You could very easily train her to use the toilet. And I'm totally serious about that. Don't spit your coffee all over your computer, it can be done!

I too am surprised about the poop in the sink. Never have I ever had that happen in all my life with a cat. I wonder why? I really would like to know what Anna was thinking. I bet it is all part of her master plan...

Pooping in the sink. That's crazy. My cats are obsessed with their litterbox. If it's not clean, they wait.

Would you like Bear too? :)

Half a frog body, the entrails of a chipmunk, a decapitated bird's head... these are the love languages of your cat and you must affirm her when she speaks these to you.

My friend from Connecticut says all that stuff is the Alabama version of the Welcome Pineapple. She thinks I set it out on my front mat on purpose when she comes over.

That is so funny, and as Summer might say..."Boy I'm gald that didn't happen to me!" We have a puppy and because of the "circle of life" he has to sleep indoors. Well he sleeps in this little area we made for him and Maggie, and the first few nights he would climb up on the floor jack(the thing you jack your car up with when you have a flat or something) and poop in the small whole! Why? I have not idea.

Facts:
Aisha (crazy cat from long ago) used to poop in the sink. Just for meanness.

Prepare yourself for gifts. It will happen. We had gifts of moles at the Roebuck house from dear Bella.

I hate sorting clothes from summer to winter. Especially when it's 80 degrees outside.
