Idea # 1

My first submission for Christmas gift idea came to me today while at Target. We were looking for packaging for Awana, SS teacher, church staff gifts, etc...
Found in the dollar bins these hard plastic Popcorn boxes. Found packages of 30 red bags. Packages of 8 tags, and then I had got ribbon at Hobby Lobby last week on 1/2 price day.
Below is a link for Peanut Butter Popcorn Crunch. Will make a big batch of that and put it in the bags. I'm trying to think of a catchy phrase like "You really popped out this year! Thanks for all you do."
I think I will also Cover the front "Popcorn" writing, with handmade name tags.
Let me know if you have a catchy popcorn phrase.

I don't have a catchy popcorn phrase yet but I will work on it very cute buckets.

Virge- Is there any kind of Popcorn paper, or tag or something? That may be cuter than the tags I got.

Brilliant! You are going to rule the world someday with your craftiness...

You could add homemade microwave popcorn bags and a movie rental card with a box of candy for a movie night gift set.

Homemade popcorn bags are made by putting 2 tablespoons of loose popcorn in a paper sack. You close the sack and microwave until popping stops. Add butter and salt and eat up!

(Try this first, it is an untried idea I just found online:)

Love the popcorn dealio! That is super cute!

I don't know about popcorn paper or tags, but I bet if you did something with green & white it would look really cute against the red & white of the container.

OR you can make a little "admit one" sort of ticket thingie (does that make sense) as the tag.

Oh, and I meant to say, I've done what Graced said many a time-

go to the Dollar store and stock up on a big ol' bowl, a 2 liter of coke, a box of microwave popcorn, and some "movie" candy. I put the coke in the middle of the bowl and then place the popcorn bags and candy around it. Then I hang a $5 gift card to Blockbuster on the coke... viola! A family night at the "movies." You can do it for about $10- I did that for my boss a few years ago... it's a good gift to give to a family (like your pastor or something) if you have a little bit in your budget to spend, but you want to make it look like "more." ;)
