Pot Roast and Hershey Bar Pie

That is what is on the menu for tonight. I am starting to smell the pot roast and oh yes, it does smell good.
I am not a tradtional Pot Roast person. I don't like the carrots and potatoes. As a matter of fact, the potatoes actually make me gag a bit with their beefy soggy flavor.
This is just plain on pot roast seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic powder....fat side up so the juices drip down. Is your mouth watering yet?

MMMM...and Hershey Par Pie.
6 Hershey bars
21 marshmallows
1/2 cup milk
1/2 to whole 8 oz tub cool whip ( depends on your desired texture)
1 graham cracker crust

Melt hershey bars with marshmallow and milk.
Let cool.
Add cool whip.
Spread into crust.
Refrigerate for at least 3 hours.

I made 3. Not all for us. Just one for tonight and the other two are for a thing at church tomorrow.

And now I must go finish my housework. I have been so consumed with Lana's room this week that I have neglected other rooms.
The premier is coming soon!!!

Love the new layout!

Mmmmm.... pot roast

I can't wait till tomorrow night! I can't decide whether or not to make desert or a cassorole. Prolly casserole, cause desert wouldn't make it to tomorrow.

Good luck on your song. See ya tomorrow and stop starring ;)!

Those sound really yummy! Just might make it into my Menu Monday Plans...if I can buy the right kind of meat, I can never find the right kind.

Love your new layout. I know where you took that picture, too!

We had hamburgers from 'Auntie Barbs' tonight and then back up to the new house to finish the moulding in the LR. How 'bout a Hershey Bar Pie for Monday night?

I like your blog's new look, too.

Let's see how can you send one out to Arizona? Hershey is in my blood! Am I Nana's daughter or what? I'll have to get Heather to make me one! Any recipes for snickers bar pie for your Uncle Jim?
Love, Aunt Michele

I just want the pie. My mom used to make pot roast all the time when I was growing up so now I am tired of it. I made some last week for the hubs and he got irritated at me because I wouldn't eat it. Hello! I was making it for you, ungrateful! Your new layout is pretty. Can't wait to see Lana's room.
